Bedridden due to a pinched nerve, I sat behind my laptop, syphoning through YouTube videos for the millionth time, trying to find a new and talented singer/songwriter I had yet to discover. After watching the thousandth cover of Love Song and Bleeding Love, I was about to abandon all hope when I stumbled upon Ms. Polinar. If her cover of Beyond the Blue Horizon on an ukulele wasn't enough to win me over, her original song Sing to Me sealed the deal. And the part that sent chills down my spine? Skip to about 2:40. With her jazzy vocals and rockin' acoustic rifs, this songstress is full of soul.
